New Tramlines Additions : Alpines and Joyce – live on Saturday 21st July
We’re delighted to add Alpines and talented songstress Joyce to our Saturday night Tramlines line-up! “Alpines are one ice maiden with a powerful voice and one musician with an impressive keyboards arsenal ” (The Guardian) That combination seems to have done very well for them, and after last year’s stand out single ‘Cocoon’ and tour support for Florence & the Machine, they’ve maintained their assault on our conscious by recently teaming up with Dark Sky and Maya Jane Coles. Their new single ‘Empire’ is out in June. listen to it below.

Joyce’s ‘Keep The Lights On’, her debut track released on Island Records (Amy Winehouse, Clock Opera, Drake, Florence & the Machine to name but a few) has garnered her a huge amount of attention already, as has its accompanying remixes by Clams Casino, Doom Disco and Bayou. Although this is all not so surprising considering her musical pedigree, her uncle is Mick Ronson, legendary Bowie guitarist and the “64th greatest guitarist of all time” according to Rolling Stone magazine!
